We are thrilled to announce that Switzer-CARTY Transportation has acquired Robinson Bus Lines, located in Maynooth, Ontario, effective November 29, 2024.

The Robinson Bus Lines story is one of humble beginnings, dedication, and family values. Forty years ago, Jim and Edith Robinson, a farming couple from Maynooth, sought additional income to support their family. Both earned their B licences and began driving school buses. With an opportunity to purchase a school bus and route, they laid the foundation for Robinson Bus Lines. Over the years, the Robinsons built a reputable student transportation business, driven by their commitment to serving the local community.

As Jim and Edith transition to the next chapter in their lives, they are delighted to entrust Robinson Bus Lines to Switzer-CARTY, a company they recognize as sharing their values of safety, reliability, and care in student transportation.

The Robinson Bus Lines team will be welcomed into Switzer-CARTY’s Bancroft Branch, which will serve as the operational base for the acquired routes and buses.
