When planning a winter ski trip for your group this year, it’s easy to get caught up in putting together accommodations, lift passes, ski rentals and snack options. There are so many things to pull together in order to plan the perfect trip for everyone. But in all of your planning, don’t forget the most important part of it all… how you’re getting there!

There are many transportation options for your group, from chartered buses to hired vans. Perhaps one of the most overlooked and easily forgotten options actually dates back to our elementary school days… a school bus! A big yellow school bus is the perfect way to get your group safely to the ski hill so they can enjoy all the fresh powder, challenging moguls and marked runs.

School bus fun

At Switzer-Carty Transportation, we know ski trips. Whether a class trip, your employee group or any organization – we get you there safely and ready for a fun day trip on the slopes!

There’s no better way to get your group in the spirit of a group trip than to play some classic driving games like singalong songs, license plate bingo or I spy. Depending on the size of your group, a school bus provides plenty of space to spread out and get comfortable and with lots of time to get to know each other.

A school bus is a safe choice

Complete with a trained driver, a school bus rental is a safe and smart option for your group ski trip transportation. All of our drivers have gone through thorough training and are committed to getting their passengers safely to the destination. Our buses undergo regular maintenance checks so you can rest assured that our buses will have you onto the ski hill before you know it.

School buses have size options

Regardless of the size of your group, we have buses that can accommodate them. From small groups of 10 or 12 to larger groups of up to 48, a school but is the perfect choice. We also have accessible school buses that can fit 2 wheelchairs and 10 people, so your ski trip will face no barriers! Keep in mind that you’ll have to budget some space for luggage, since there is no under bus storage the way there is in a charter bus. But with the number of seats offered on a school bus, that likely isn’t an issue!
