Switzer-CARTY Transportation is excited to share executive changes that will position the company for continued success and growth.

Effective January 1, 2025, Jim Switzer will transition to the role of Executive Chairman. Stepping into this new role, Jim will remain actively involved in Switzer-CARTY’s strategic direction, working closely with the leadership team, the Board of Directors, and Doug Carty to guide the company’s future growth. Jim will continue to connect with employees and customers through branch and customer visits, special events, and functions.

Dan Maradin, a seasoned leader with over 35 years of experience in the school bus industry, will assume the role of President & CEO. Dan has been instrumental in Switzer-CARTY’s growth and will now oversee all operations to ensure the company continues delivering the excellence its customers rely on.

Nick McRae will step into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), where he will lead day-to-day operations with a continued focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence. Nick has played a key role since joining Switzer-CARTY through the Roxborough Bus Lines acquisition.
